Ambassador-Designate of Maldives to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Hussain Shareef has met with the Ambassador of Nepal His Excellency Professor Bishwambher Pyakuryal this morning.
At the meeting held at the Embassy of Nepal, Ambassador Bishwambher Pyakuryal congratulated Ambassador Mohamed Hussain Shareef on the commencement of his new assignment and expressed hope that he would further work to strengthen the close bilateral ties and cooperation between Maldives and Nepal.
The discussion also focused on the recent developments in the Maldives and Nepal; and enhancing regional cooperation under the umbrella of SAARC.
Ambassador-Designate His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Hussain Shareef was accompanied by First Secretary Ms. Umaira Mohamed.
